Have you considered that, in the same way you think these women are trying be 'pick-mes' by signalling alignment with the right that there are men doing the same thing but in reverse? Perhaps men who are pushing feminism are just doing it for the same, base reasons. They're just 'going where the women are' and using activism as a cover. Have you ever looked around at a feminist rally and taken stock of the 'men' there? They certainly aren't the strongest looking⤻ group. And so if they aren't physically attractive, they rely on other means of getting access to women.

Eric Schneiderman, the former Attorney General of New York who was referred to as a 'champion of women’s rights'
Prominent progressive Senator Al Franken was accused of sexual 'misconduct' (a.k.a., harassment and abuse).
University of Texas at Austin professor Robert Reece, who had taught and written about consent and power and was accused of rape.
President Bill Clinton recently stated that he would never apologize to Monica Lewinsky.
Harvey Weinstein donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to various liberal causes and campaigns over the years and has been accused of rape, assault, and harassment from a multitude of women.
And the last bit about 'people with limited mating options'... I got bad news for you. In the US, Conservatives are having more children than Liberals.⤻
