re: Dessert - 35gcs

I read this post⤻ by 35gcs about how they find themselves constantly seeking something sugary after meals and how they want to stop indulging so much. Health and Diet are not my forte by any means, but I did previously find myself with a similar thought. So I just figured I'd make a quick post about how I dealt with this feeling.

After lunch, if I'm looking for something sweet, I'll have one Sour Patch Kid. Or one Swedish Fish. Or one square of a Hershey chocolate bar.

Just enough to enjoy the taste, to cleanse the palate, but not enough to make any impact on my sugar intake. It's gotten to the point where, when offered a full dessert (e.g. a slice of cheesecake), I eat one fork full and am satisfied. I don't crave a whole slice. And as a result, I find myself having that urge for dessert less and less.

I'm not sure this what 35gcs was after, I am still "giving in" to the desire, just managing what I'm accepting.

Yours Truly,
